Before Turning On The Miter Saw
1. Always wear safety glasses when operating any machinery. 2. Check blade for damage. 3. Adjust and lock the miter before operating saw. 4. Check that the material is level on table as it extends from the tool. Operating Miter Saw 1. Keep hands, fingers, and body clear of the blade path. 2. Avoid standing in line with blade while saw is in operation. 3. Hold wood firmly against fence while cutting. 4. Using moderate pressure lower the saw blade into the stock. Do not force the blade into the stock. After the blade has completely cut the stock, raise the blade and release the trigger. 5. Make sure the blade has stopped before removing the stock. |
